The radiation environment of the Earth
The main objective of COST Action 724 is the development of the scientific basis for monitoring, modelling and predicting Space Weather. This goal is to be achieved through the collaborative work of 4 Working Groups, each devoted to a specific task in the framework of solar-terrestrial relations. Working Group 2 is aimed at studying the dynamics of the Earth's radiation environment and its effects on humans and technology in space.
